Scorsese To Make Documentary On Beatle George Harrison
American Academy Award winning film director, writer and producer, Martin Scorsese, will be directing a new documentary about the life of late Beatle George Harrison. The film will cover Harrison´s time in the Beatles and later years as a solo artist. His family is providing extensive archive material and his widow, Olivia, will be one of the producers of the documentary.

Master Mime Marcel Marceau Dies in Paris
The world famous French performer and mime artist Marcel Marceau died on Saturday at the age of 84. Marceau appeared on stage for over 50 years ande never spoke a word. But, the off-stage chatty Marceau once said, "Never get a mime talking. He won't stop." He used graceful body movement and lean facial expressions to enliven the art of mime.

Tenor Luciano Pavarotti Dies In Italy
The Italian opera star, Luciano Pavarotti, hailed by many as the greatest tenor of his generation, died in the early hours of this morning. He was 71 and had been suffering from pancreatic cancer. His manager said he died at his home in Italy surrounded by family and close friends.

Damien Hirst´s Jeans For Levi´s At US$4,000
British artist Damien Hirst has co-designed a new collection for Levi Strauss & Co. He created a line collection for the company´s spring 2008 "Warhol Factory X Levi's X Damien Hirst". Jeans will be decorated with a skull pattern made of Swarovski crystals. The jeans are the most expensive items in the collection, tag at US$4,000 a pair.
