Fisker Karma: First Ever Luxury Plug-In Hybrid
Fisker Automotive, Inc., a green American premium sports car company, unveiled its first production car, the Fisker Karma, at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The first of its kind four-door plug-in hybrid premium sports sedan will have a starting price of $80,000. Initial deliveries of the Karma will commence in the 4th quarter of 2009 with annual production projected to reach 15,000 cars. The first 99 cars off the assembly line will be individually numbered and signed by Henrik Fisker and will be produced in the color and trim of the show car seen at NAIAS.

AT&T And Starbucks Begin Nationwide Wi-Fi Rollout
AT&T Inc. and Starbucks today announced the beginning of the rollout of AT&T Wi-FiSM service at company-operated Starbucks stores, kicking off a nationwide effort that will continue through 2008. At the 2008 AT&T Inc. Annual Meeting of Stockholders in San Antonio, chairman and chief executive officer Randall Stephenson announced that the companies have already started the deployment of AT&T Wi-Fi service at Starbucks locations in San Antonio, making it the first market to deliver the complete AT&T Wi-Fi experience in the U.S.

LVMH acquires the Swiss watchmaker Hublot
LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading luxury group, announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire the Hublot group, a top of the range watchmaker enjoying very strong growth. LVMH will acquire Hublot from Mr Carlo Crocco, who founded the group in 1980, and a company controlled by Mr Jean-Claude Biver, who has managed Hublot since 2004.

The Jaguar XF Scoops What Diesel's 'Car of the Year'
Jaguar's latest model, the XF, continued its winning streak today as What Diesel magazine named it the 2008 'Car of the Year'. The luxury sport saloon claimed the top prize after clinching the award for top performing diesel in the 'Best Executive Car' category. This is the tenth international award the model has received since its Frankfurt debut and with 2000 cars sold during March in the UK, it is clear that the XF has captured the imagination of the motoring fraternity and public alike.

Zune Arts Releases New Video "Piece of Me, Piece of You"
Zune Arts, the program that aims to bring the best creative minds together to collaborate on inspiring works of art, has released a new video: "Piece of Me, Piece of You." The new work is a short film created by Three Legged Legs and features the musical styling of Chromeo's "FancyFootwork." Cellist Yo-Yo Ma To Perform With Sony Philarmonic Orchestra
The Sony Philharmonic Orchestra, a full symphonic orchestra comprised of Sony employees and family members who live and work in Japan, will perform at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. This event marks the first time the 108 piece orchestra will perform in the United States. The orchestra will be led by Maestro Daniel Harding, Principal Guest Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, Music Director of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Principal Conductor of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. World renowned cellist and Sony BMG recording artist, Yo-Yo Ma, will perform as guest soloist.

Continental Airlines Partners With The NJ Performing Arts Center
