First Video Portal To Pay Travelers For Their Holiday Movies
As the first worldwide video portal, Tripr.TV is launching a service in which travelers can easily publish video reviews of hotels. Filmmakers receive a commission when the video results in a booking of the filmed hotel. Now everyone can easily publish and share videos via Tripr.TV. As soon as other travelers place a booking after watching a video review, the publisher of the film will receive one third of the commission fee. The customary commission rate in the hotel industry varies between 5 and 15 percent per reservation.

Panasonic today announced the newest addition to its popular line of super-slim LUMIX FX-Series digital cameras, with the introduction of the DMC-FX35, complete with Panasonic’s first-ever 25mm ultra-wide-lens. ESPN and XM Satellite Radio to Launch 'ESPN Xtra' Radio Channel
ESPN and XM Satellite Radio today announced that XM will add a new slate of ESPN programs to its line up starting February 4 featuring a new ESPN Radio-dedicated channel. XM and ESPN will re-brand XM channel 141 as ESPN Xtra. This channel will enhance its current schedule of ESPNEWS programming with new shows and specials, including three of ESPN Radio's premier talk programs from its owned stations in New York and Dallas, which will be available for the first time for a national radio audience only on XM.

The first Bentley Brooklands coupe destined for the U.S. market has been purchased for $450,000 at a charity auction held during the 2008 Naples Winter Wine Festival. The $14 million from the auction sale will directly benefit the Naples Children and Education Foundation, which supports charitable and educational programs to improve the physical, emotional and educational lives of underprivileged or at-risk children.

Tiffany & Co. announced plans to open a boutique in Tokyo's Matsuzakaya Ginza department store, and a boutique in Fukuoka's Hakata Daimaru department store on March 1, 2008. The approximately 5,000-square-foot Matsuzakaya Ginza boutique is designed on two levels and is within the Matsuzakaya Ginza department store, located at 6-10-1 Ginza Chuo-ku, in Tokyo's center of high fashion and luxury retail. The approximately 1,700-square-foot Fukuoka boutique is ideally situated in the Daimaru department store at 1-4-1 Tenjin Chuo-ku, a mainstay of luxury shopping in the city's downtown business district.

Banksy Graffiti Wall Sold On eBay For US$407,000
A west London wall adorned with a painting by mysterious graffiti artist Banksy fetched over £200,000 on eBay today. The work appeared in September outside a post-production company in Portobello Road, west London. Luti Fagbenle, who runs the firm, decided to put the wall on eBay, but first placed a Perspex sheet over it.

Apple To Standardize iTunes Music Prices Throughout Europe
Apple announced that within six months it will lower the prices it charges for music on its UK iTunes Store to match the already standardized pricing on iTunes across Europe in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain. Apple currently must pay some record labels more to distribute their music in the UK than it pays them to distribute the same music elsewhere in Europe. Apple will reconsider its continuing relationship in the UK with any record label that does not lower its wholesale prices in the UK to the pan-European level within six months.

H&M and Designers Against AIDS (DAA) are joining forces in the battle against AIDS and are launching a collection for guys and girls together with Rihanna, Timbaland and other well-known designers, musicians and artists. The aim is to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, which affects many young people all over the world. The collection "Fashion Against AIDS" will be available in H&M’s Divided departments from February 2008.
