Virgin Galactic Rolls Out Mothership "EVE"
Virgin Founder, Sir Richard Branson and SpaceShipOne designer, Burt Rutan, pulled back the hangar doors on the new WhiteKnightTwo (WK2) carrier aircraft that will ferry SpaceShipTwo and thousands of private astronauts, science packages and payload on the first stage of the Virgin Galactic sub-orbital space experience.

Sony Opens A New Chapter On eBook Formats
Sony announced that its Reader Digital Book will be the first eBook reading device to support the EPUB format, the International Digital Publishing Forum’s XML-based standard format for reflowable digital books and publications. Starting next month, new Readers model PRS-505, will be able to access and accept secure and non-secure ebooks in the EPUB format. EPUB has gained acceptance among major trade book publishers, many of whom have committed to begin publishing forthcoming ebooks in the format.

Chevy Unveils The 2010 Chevy Camaro

Recycle wireless phones and help connect U.S. military families with free phone cards. AT&T Inc. and military charity Cell Phones for Soldiers (CPFS) have been connecting those dots since July 2007 — by recycling cell phones in more than 2,000 AT&T stores across 1,100 U.S. cities. 600 Starbucks Branches In America Will Close
Starbucks Corporation has announced the next step in its multi-faceted plan to transform the company, with a decision to close approximately 600 underperforming company-operated stores in the U.S. market. This decision is a result of a rigorous evaluation of the U.S. company-operated store portfolio and includes the 100 stores targeted for closure in the company’s previously announced plans. In addition, Starbucks now expects to open fewer than 200 new U.S. company-operated stores in fiscal 2009.
