Damien Hirstīs famous shark installation is desintegrating
Damien Hirstīs pickled shark (the most iconic symbol in conceptual art in Britain) will be replaced for a fresher specimen before it desintegrates. Conversations between Hirstīs business manager, Frank Dunphy, and American multi-millionaire owner, Stephen Cohen, are accelerating.

New Tribal Art Museum in Paris
French President Jacques Chirac inaugurated yesterday a new museum that includes primitive arts. The Quai Branly Museum is the first major museum to open in Paris since 1970. The US$293 million complex on the banks of the River Seine, houses art from Asia, Africa, and the Americas, some of it from Franceīs colonies.

Theft of rare artifacts in Turkish Museum
The theft of rare artifacts from a Turkish museum is focusing attention on how this country guards its art treasures. Turkey is home to about 3,000 ancient cities and is thought to have more ancient Greek artifacts than Greece.

Leading Japanese artist in Plagiarism scandal
Leading Japanese artist, Yoshihiko Wada, denied the plagiarism accusations he has been suffering lately. Japan´s government asked Wada to return the prize he was awarded in March.
