| Identical Twins Search Now On At National GalleryThe National Gallery of Canada (NGC) is doubling up with Damien Hirst in its search for identical twins who are willing to take part in a recreation of the artist’s 1992 performance Ingo, Torsten. | Medieval Costume Demonstration At The Cloisters, February 28In a special presentation at The Cloisters museum and gardens—The Metropolitan Museum of Art's branch devoted to the art and architecture of the Middle Ages—some 30 citizens of Nijmegen (The Netherlands) wearing historically accurate attire based on medieval designs will participate in a lecture demonstration with costume historian Desirée Koslin. | LACMA Receives Unrestricted GiftThe Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has announced a pledge of $100,000 from nationally renowned investor Evelyn Y. Davis and the Evelyn Y. Davis Foundation. LACMA Director Michael Govan noted, "Evelyn Y. Davis and the Evelyn Y. Davis foundation have established a national presence through their support of nonprofit institutions across the country. | Success On A Plate For Newstead AbbeyIndependent charity The Art Fund is delighted to announce that Nottingham City Museums and Galleries in Nottinghamshire has bought a rare set of ornate 19th century porcelain plates at auction in New York, which will be displayed across three heritage sites; Newstead Abbey, Wollaton Hall and Nottingham Castle.
