Galerie Jeanne-Bucher and The Cosmological Eye
The Gallery is happy to announce its forthcoming exhibition, "The Cosmological Eye",
from 26 April to 23 June 2007 will bring together the two German artists, Hans Reichel and Günter Haese.
As surprising as this choice of uniting these two artists might at first seem given the disparity of their mediums and the periods that separate them, it immerses us in the heart of German Romanticism's sensibility and proximity to nature. The watercolorist Hans Reichel, who frequently exhibited at the gallery since 1930, was born in Würzburg on 9 August 1892 and died in Paris on 7 December 1958. The sculptor Günter Haese, exhibited here for the first time, was born in Kiel in 1924 and continues to work in his Düsseldorf studio.

Luc Tuymans at Zeno X Gallery Antwerp
Zeno X Gallery is proud to present new work of Belgian artist Luc Tuymans (°1958, Mortsel, Belgium).
Luc Tuymans needs little introduction, for he is considered one of the most respected painters of his generation. In a time where figurative painting was deemed to be at its end and had seemingly lost all relevance, he became a key figure in its revival. Tuymans challenged the art of painting and confronted it with its shortcomings, its ‘belatedness’ as he tends to call it. He is convinced that original creation is impossible; everything has been done before.

Michelle Sakhai´s "Simple Impressions" At New York Gallery
Broadway Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of the works of artist Michelle Sakhai. Michelle Sakhai is a plein-air painter in the best sense of the term; she possesses that elusive ability, an attentive "regard," and conveys this through canvasses of intense color and light. The purples, blues and reds of her recent work come to mind; vibrant and alive, these works remind us of those rare moments when an unusual cast, hue or glow traversing a façade or illuminating a corner surprises us.
